This Week in Photos | New York City Family Photographer
It was such a busy week at "Rock of Ages" - we were involved in a bunch of events for the Super Bowl - a performance in Times Square, two performances pre-game at the Super Bowl, a FOX commercial, and four NFL players made their Broadway debuts doing walk-on roles in the show this week. In addition to all that was going on, we had a wonky performance schedule (to make up for not doing shows on Super Bowl Sunday). I had minimal involvement in all the goings-on as only two stage managers were needed for the Super Bowl performances, but it still felt like a marathon week at work.
The city itself was crazy this week, too. Broadway from 34th Street to 44th Street was transformed into "Super Bowl Boulevard". There were so many people in midtown - especially over the weekend. On 41st Street there was a huge toboggan run!
Lila had a great time at music class on Monday - it was fun to see her dancing and running around and interacting with the other kids. On Wednesday we went to Starbucks for breakfast and then to the Long Island Children's Museum. It was a really fun morning.
A happy 21 week baby bump.
Last week's Project Life spread.
Still life at 7am.
Fun times in Lila's room. She loves piling all her stuffed animals and pillows into her teepee and then jumping around on top of them. A variation on the game is burying me or Eric under a mountain of stuffed animals. Good times.
A rare bit of afternoon sunshine lights up the bookshelves.
One of Lila's masterpieces.
Working on a baby sweater for the little dude on the train going to work.
Sigh. I love New York.
Out for a walk on Sunday morning. There was still quite a bit of snow on the ground even after some warmer temperatures this week.
Some tiny buds on a tree in our backyard...small signs of spring on the way.
Looking at her Phonics flashcards.
She's a nutcase sometimes.
And that was our very long week...already this week seems like a vacation in comparison!
