Friday Round-up | Long Island Family Photographer

Just a couple of links for you this morning. The sun is shining and my "to do" list is blessedly short today, so we need to get out of the house! Here's what I've got to share:

A fun list of interactive books for kids. We were just gifted the "Press Here" book and it is awesome!

This new Google camera app looks cool - too bad its only for Android users!

I used to listen to a lot of podcasts when I was traveling around the country in my car. I just recently started listening again on the train. Here's a list of podcasts I'd like to try.

7 Daily Exercises to Help Make You A Better Photographer. This is a great list...I need to improve some of these skills.

I've been enjoying Elise's new podcast, which is primarily about the business of blogging and running a small business. New and interesting information to me! The latest episode is about affiliate programs.

You can now go back in time with Google street view. Cool!

Exploring off-limits New York. Some awesome spots that you would never see otherwise!

I would love to see this Garry Winogrand retrospective at the National Gallery of Art in D.C.

Tavern on the Green is re-opening!

A new Humans of New York book coming this fall!

50 People Turning 50 in 2014. Some of these really blew my mind. Eddie Vedder? Matt Dillon? Lenny Kravitz? These people are my youth!

6 Artists on the Closing of Pearl Paint. So sad. I remember going here many a time with my roommate (who was a scenic designer) when I first moved to NYC.

Hope you all have a great weekend!
