Friday Round-up on Saturday | Long Island Family Photographer

Well, I'm off to a great start with my new blogging schedule - haha :) The truth is my computer is tied up right now with a massive migration and re-organization of my photos...which is like 100,000 files. Probably more.  It is tedious to say the least, but the end is in sight, and I will feel so much better about how all my files are stored and backed up when it is done. But...while this whole process is happening, my poor old computer can't do much else.

Fortunately, I only have a few links to share this week anyway, so here goes!

5 tips for taking outdoor self-portraits. I used to be so much better about getting my tripod out. I need to make the effort!

It's their day, too. I loved this post. I often feel guilty about not doing eighty million educational things with my kids everyday, but when I step back and look at the big picture, they do have it pretty good.

Sweet corn and zucchini pie. I am so making this next week.

Zack Arias walks through a photo shoot from beginning to end. As a photographer, I found this behind-the-scenes video fascinating.

This newborn shoot starring a dog is HILARIOUS.

How to clean up your online presence. Good info!
