Snapshots of our Week | Long Island, NY Family Documentary Photography

We spent most of the week up in Copake with my parents and Eric's parents. My parents had never been there before, so it was fun showing them around. We went apple picking, to Bash Bish Falls and to the Rail Trail. Its gorgeous up there this time of year.

I also had two fall Short Story sessions this week, so although I took A LOT of photos this week, I'll save most of them to share with you when I give each of those sessions their own blog post.

I am also working on a Story in Motion of our time up in Copake, but it is not quite done yet. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to share it with you. In the meantime, though, here are some shots of our time up in Copake.

We got stuck in a combination of rush hour traffic, two accidents and a crazy lightning storm on our way home on Friday night. What is usually a 2 1/2 hour trip ended up taking 4 1/2! Needless to say, we were all ready to get out of the car when we arrived home.

My parents flew home on Saturday and we spent the day relaxing. On Sunday I photographed a great family at the pumpkin patch and then took Lila and Logan to the park later in the day.

And that was our week! Hope you all enjoy your Monday holiday.
