Documenting your family's winter traditions | Long Island, NY Family Documentary Photography
Fall Short Story sessions are winding down. I had so much fun with all my clients this October! I hope you all enjoyed your "autumn adventures" as much as I enjoyed documenting them for you!
We are now approaching the holidays and the new year. Temperatures are starting to dip and winter is starting to make its presence known. Many of you may think that winter is not a good time for a photo session, and no, outdoor sessions in the frigid east coast temperatures are not really possible. However, what sort of feelings come to mind when you think of winter? I think: "cozy", "fireplace", "baking", "blankets", "knitting", "game nights", "candlelight", "family time", "traditions", "cookies", "soup", "music", "cuddles", "living room forts". All fantastic elements to document in an in-home Storytelling or Story in Motion session!
The following are a few images I took last winter during in-home sessions with some of my favorite families.
And I made one of my favorite "stories in motion" last winter, of my own family, during the season's biggest snow storm.
I would love to chronicle some of your winter memories! From now until the end of December, any bookings for January 1-March 31, 2016 will be reserved at the 2015 prices. Let's document your winter family traditions! Contact me now to book a session! (Please note: I will only be scheduling in-home sessions this winter - if weather allows, we can certainly venture outside, but all sessions will start in-home.)
As of January 1st, I will be moving past my introductory rates to accommodate costs for my growing business. I am so thankful to all my clients this year, who trusted me to tell their stories with family documentary photography. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU.
I can't wait to see the stories 2016 brings.
