Snapshots of Our Week | Long Island, NY Family Documentary Photography
My trusty Nikon d800 started making me nervous last week when it froze up three times during a session, so I decided it was time to invest in a second body as a back-up. My d750 arrived this week! I am really enjoying it and it will probably become my primary camera, with my 4-year-old d800 as my back-up. I am getting used to some of the differences in the new camera, including editing. The shadows in images by the d750 are much more lifted than those from the d800, so my usual go-to Lightroom presets are looking a little different. I was playing around with a lot of different looks on my images this week so please excuse the variety in the shots below!
I love our slow mornings.
Logan has started showing a real interest in coloring, so despite my best judgment, I've been giving him pens and crayons to use. Here's hoping and praying our walls stay their rightful color.
Headed out to speech therapy and school.
We returned our library books on Wednesday and picked up some new ones. I have a feeling we will be frequenting the library a lot this winter.
Logan has been dealing with his cast very well. He is just as fast at getting around with it now than he was without it! Two more weeks and he gets it off. Tomorrow he has an x-ray to check his progress.
The days are getting shorter and colder.
Lila's been loving playing with kinetic sand lately. Such a good indoor activity!
Creating art in the playroom.
The backyard still remains a fun zone, despite the dipping temperatures!
And that was our week!
Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!
