366 Hit List: October | Long Island Family Photographer
Wow, here we are, already closing up the books on October. I can't believe how quickly this year has flown by! October was a total whirlwind. School activities, I worked a lot, and we packed in some Long Island fall fun as well. I have so enjoyed my 366 project this year and I look forward to compiling all the photographs into a book and final slideshow at the end of the year. When I look through my images from January to now, I see so many stories and little moments of our family captured, and I am so grateful them as a record of our year. As a Long Island family photographer, I think it is so important to remember to keep photographing my own family, even in the midst of the crazy fall busy season. I am so thankful for this project, which inspires me to photograph my children everyday!
Let's see how October shaped up, shall we?
OCTOBER MOOD BOARD
The dark browns and yellows of fall are here, intermixed with a few black and whites. The days are growing shorter and the directional, colder light has arrived.
ONE SECOND A DAY
And here is our October in one second a day, "The Beauty of a Second: October". I cannot wait to share the finished film of our year with you!
And now November is here! I am planning Lila's birthday party and we are looking forward to a weekend away upstate for Thanksgiving. Winter, here we come!
And now, follow the circle around to see what my fellow 366-ers were up to in October. First up is Alyssa!
