An Afternoon with The Capaldi Family | Setauket Family Photographer
Photographing the Family Through the Years
I love spending time with the Capaldi family - oldest daughter Coco has been Lila's best friend since they started preschool. I first photographed the family a year and a half ago when I was first starting my business, and followed up with another session documenting them decorating their tree last Christmas. I just love looking back on the images from the different sessions and seeing how much the kids have grown. Little Gavin was only a month old when I first photographed him!
A New Home
This past summer the family moved out east to a new house in Suffolk County (we miss them being so close to us, but are glad they are still within driving distance!), so it was important to them to have this new chapter in their story recorded. It makes my heart happy when families value the importance of photographing these milestones. They will be able to look back on these images years from now and re-live the excitement of their first fall in their new home.
The new house has an amazing backyard and the house itself is warm and inviting - just like the Capaldis themselves. I hung out with them for the afternoon while they played outside, ate lunch, baked cookies and had some play time before Gavin's second nap. It was a lovely visit - take a look.
Here is a look at the full story of the afternoon.
If you would like an important milestone in your family's life photographed, I would love to chat! I am now booking family legacy sessions for 2017.
