366 Hit List: September | New York City Family Photographer

I am headed toward the home stretch now with my 366 project - less than 100 days left before the end of the year (can you believe it?). I have definitely been feeling a bit of a slump lately, which is why I wrote up a tutorial about how to stay motivated during a year-long photo-a-day project. The ideas have given me a bit of a jumpstart, and I am excited to power through until the end of the year!

I am already thinking about what photography projects I want to take on next year and whether another photo-a-day project will be on the list... there is still time to decide! It is definitely not off the table, but I do have some other ideas in mind as well - stay tuned!

So, let's take a look at how September shaped up!

SEPTEMBER MOOD BOARD

Seeing these images together in a collage really gives the feel of fall coming, with the start of school, the cooler light, a sense of farewell. We will miss you summer!

ONE SECOND A DAY

And finally, here is "The Beauty of A Second" for September. One second a day of video, telling the story of our month.

Its been a wonderful re-entry back in the routine of the school year. We are eagerly awaiting changing leaves, pumpkins and apples. Thank you Summer 2016 for being a good one!

Now follow the circle around to see what my fellow 366-ers were up to this past month, starting with Carissa's gorgeous work.
