Snapshots of our Week | Long Island Family Photographer

I'm a little late sharing our photos from last week. To be honest, the days seem to be running together - all the same. It is still cold here. Every day I wake up and think "maybe today it will be warm" - and yet we are still huddled in blankets on the couch and wearing hats and gloves to school. Interminable winter. Flowers are beginning to sprout, its true. The neighbor's tree is in bloom. Its just still so dang cold. I'm tired of being cold.

We did have one day last week where it miraculously reached the 70's. Unfortunately I spent most of the day inside at a shoot, but the kids went to the park and we played outside for a while after I got home. The next day it was cold again!

Highlights from last week included Lila's luau party for Girl Scouts - she loved it. It was a drop off party in her school gym. The whole room was decorated - it looked adorable. I also took the kids to the pet store on Sunday and we came home with two fish - Swimmy and Dory. We'll see how long they last...

That's about it - send some sunshine our way!
