Snapshots of our Week | Long Island Family Photographer

Last week was a short week at school - the kids were only in class Monday through Wednesday, and then Spring Break kicked off! The weather is still not really cooperating - I was hoping to maybe go to the zoo on Friday, but it rained, so we went to the Hall of Science in Queens instead. It was a bit crowded, so we didn't last long, but luckily outside things had dried out a bit, so we went to one of the playgrounds in Corona Park for a little while before heading home.

Sunday was Easter and we spent the morning at the Garden City vintage car show before heading over to Eric's parents' house for brunch. All the cousins were in attendance, and the kids had fun hunting for Easter eggs and then generally running amok around the house while we ate and hung out. The sun blessedly came out, so the kids were able to go outside and play frisbee for a while. It was a nice day!

Hoping that the weather clears up somewhat this week (even after the four inches of snow last night!) so that we can do some fun things this week before everyone heads back to school next Monday. If you see Spring, send her our way!
