Snapshots of Our Week | At Home on Long Island

It's finally starting to look like Spring around here! It's still just slightly colder than I'd like, but the forecast for next week looks gorgeous (hitting the 70's!) and I finally packed away the snow pants today. Logan and I went to Lowe's to look at patio furniture, and we are starting to plan this year's veggie garden. The kids (and me) have been loving the afternoon and evening outdoor time. It's so nice to be able to sit on the stoop and read again, and our after-dinner walks have resumed. We went to the baseball fields on Sunday for the first time this year. The tulips are in bloom over there and they are prepping the pool for the summer.

Speaking of the pool, I am signing Lila and Logan up for swim lessons this summer - neither of them is crazy about the idea, but its time. Lila also wants to take ballet this summer, so I am looking around for classes for her. We also have some travel on the agenda for the summer, which I am looking forward to - California in July and possibly Canada in August. I have passport applications for the kids sitting next to me on the table. I need to take their pictures and then we can submit them.

I am inundated with video editing this spring - lots of big projects in process - all of which I am enjoying very much and am looking forward to sharing!

Life is good.
