This Week in Photos | Long Island Family Documentary Photographer

We are headed off to Copake tomorrow for the next five days so here are some photos of our last week a day early! Last week seemed super busy to me for some reason. Maybe it was just because I was up at the crack of crack every morning to shower before Lila woke up, who knows. Anyway, on Monday we had class at the Waldorf school and Lila had a really good time. Some of the other parents even commented on what a good mood she was in. She was being very flirty and smiley. It made me happy to see her happy.

On Tuesday we skipped storytime in favor of a long walk and run around by the train station. Fall is here and it is just so gorgeous out right now.

We have more tomatoes in our backyard than we know what to do with. On Tuesday I made a tomato tart.

On Wednesday we braved a chill in the air and drove over to Planting Fields Arboretum for a picnic and long walk around the grounds. Lila must have walked over a mile that day. I was so impressed with her stamina!

On Friday Lila had music class. She really loved it this week. It always makes me laugh when the bubble machine starts. All the kids are so entranced.

On Sunday morning before work I took some photos of my friend Kelly and her family for their holiday cards. Her daughter Lola is getting so big! Lila was a bit of an emotional train wreck that morning but I did manage to get some decent photos of Kelly's family nonetheless.

I am so looking forward to our weekend upstate - we are going to the NY Sheep and Wool Festival and going apple picking! And maybe getting some rest, too!

Wishing you all a lovely week!
