This Week in Photos | Long Island Family Photographer

This week Lila and I were both fighting colds, so I stayed home with Lila for a few days. We did get out and about to the park a few times, because the fresh air was needed! On Monday we went to class at the Waldorf School and Lila actually sat next to me at the table (instead of ON me), ate all the snack, played independently and really enjoyed music/movement time. Yay progress!

Most of the photos for this post you have already seen in the time capsule I posted a few days ago, but I'm going to repost them anyway so that I have something to show here :)

Lately Lila has been more interested in watching her DVDs in the morning than "Yo Gabba Gabba". Her current favorites are "Meet the Colors", "Wee Hands", and an Elmo video about music, dance and books.

We went to Trader Joe's on Tuesday. They have pretty grass growing in the parking lot.

This poor cat is not feeling well either. She's not eating and mostly hiding away from all of us. I started force feeding her again yesterday and we have a vet appointment tomorrow to get her some fluids. Poor thing.

Morning milk and laze about time:

We went over to Eisenhower Park on Wednesday for some fresh air. We ran into some friends from music class and walked around with them for a while. It was fun! Then I let Lila out of the stroller to run around and get the wiggles out.

Then I made her get back in the stroller and she was not happy. This was post-tantrum:

We are now at the point of having more tomatoes than we know what to do with in our garden.

This kid has such manners:

Bath time is fun time!

Favorite past time: throwing herself around on our bed.

And finally, some pics from my walk between shows on Saturday. I went down to the Flatiron to get a custard from Shake Shack. I had no idea that Madison Square Eats existed. So cool! I have to go back there with my coworkers for lunch sometime.

It looks like fall weather has finally arrived. We are getting some pumpkins this week - decorative gourds, yay!

Hope your week is going well!
