This Week in Photos | Long Island Family Photographer
We started off our Monday with an early breakfast trip to Panera while the cleaning ladies were at the house and then Lila and I walked around the mall, Barnes and Noble and Buy Buy Baby, killing time. We looked at double strollers for a bit at Buy Buy Baby. That was sort of hard to do solo with a toddler. We'll have to go back with Eric.
Its been FREEZING this week! So lots of time spent indoors. Luckily Lila is getting really good at independent play. She got a lot of great toys for Christmas that are keeping her occupied.
I got a new macro lens for Christmas. Its great for super close-ups of Lila.
On New Year's Eve, Eric put together Lila's toddler bed. Lila helped.
Lila's first night in her new bed went great! And it continues to go well. We are very happy!
Our New Year's Eve dinner. He was delicious.
It has been so frosty cold out. Negative wind chill temps.
Playing quietly. I am so grateful that she is starting to amuse herself for longer and longer periods of time.
We had a big snowstorm on Thursday night. We got at least a foot of snow. My best friend Michele flew into town for two days and luckily she had no travel issues. We were also able to get home on the train Thursday night before there were any service issues. The neighborhood looked really pretty on Friday.
Mornings start by waking up slowly with a bit of TV.
Our bedroom gets the prettiest light in the morning.
Snowy train tracks.
Manhattan got predictably slushy over the weekend.
By Sunday there were icicles everywhere.
Watching the wintry wonderland go by from my seat on the train.
And that is how our week went! We are still bundled up over here, trying to stay warm.
I hope you are all surviving this crazy weather!
