Our Week in Photos | Long Island Family Documentary Photographer

I'm ready to jump into blogging more frequently again, so I'm changing things up a bit. I'll blog about our week on Mondays, post my Lila and Logan updates on Tuesdays, links I want to share will be going back to Fridays, and I hope to throw in a wild card post every week as well. We'll see how that goes!

So here are some bits and pieces from our week:

Chillin' at home. I'm thinking of doing some kind of series with these couch photos. Maybe printing a Blurb book or something. I just love the light we get through that window.

I took these photos while Eric was shooting a yellow jacket nest with the hose, which Lila thought was hysterical. I'm just glad no one got stung.

Back at Jones Beach. Its becoming a weekly outing (we actually went twice this week!)

On a walk with some corn on the cob. Like you do.

Cutie Patootie.

Silly girl.

Two weeks worth of Project Life spreads. I think next year I may do really, really simple spreads with no embellishments at all. I may not even use the Project Life kit cards. The embellishments are hard for me to find time for. And really the photos are the most important thing, right?

We went to White Post Farms on Thursday. Lila was into the animals until the goats decided to get LOUD. Then she pretty much freaked out and wanted nothing to do with them. She did like the fluffy bunnies and the little monkeys, though. And she had a blast at the playground.

This little guy is the sweetest.

We went back to the beach on Friday with Nana. It was such a gorgeous day. No humidity, really mild. Beautiful.

On Saturday we went for a long walk and had lunch at a burger place in Garden City.

Later that day we went and visited Eric at the house he and his dad are renovating. Lila loves playing there. I think she may be building houses with them before long!

I tried to do a little photo shoot with Logan yesterday morning.

In reality, this was happening.

I love these two.

Backyard play time.

An overcast afternoon at home.

And that was our week.

Happy Monday, everyone!
