Revisiting the C Family | New York City Family Documentary Photography
I first photographed little Willa when she was just a month old. How she has grown since then! I visited Willa and her parents a couple of weeks ago and now just shy of eight months old, Willa is crawling and standing and eating solid food! Its just amazing how quickly the time flies. I had a great time spending a few hours with the family at their upper west side apartment, catching up. The last time I visited them it was February and snowing outside, so we took full advantage of the warm weather this time around to venture across the street to beautiful Riverside Park to soak up a few rays of late afternoon sun. After that, it was back home so that Willa could eat some dinner before her final nap of the day. I was reminded, after seeing how much this little girl has grown in such a short time, how much change happens in the first year of a child's life. It really is such a fleeting time, which makes it all the more important to savor it, and document it! I know I probably drive my kids crazy with my camera, but I am so grateful for all the photos I have of them. Its amazing how quickly you forget what they were like when they were very small. Here are a few shots from the afternoon.
And here is a slideshow of the afternoon.
