Snapshots of Our Week | Long Island Family Documentary Photographer

I returned home from the Awesome Workshop with a renewed motivation and clarity about my business... and the first thing I wanted to do was give this website a facelift. I've been sneaking more of my personal work back into my portfolio over the past few months because I think it most accurately represents me and where I want to continue to go with client work. My website feels more like home now, and I could not be happier with it! I especially love the grid layout for my blogs posts.

It was great to see Lila and Logan again after a weekend away from them. Absence really does make the heart grow fonder, and I could not wait to squeeze them when I got home!

We spent Monday and Tuesday just hanging out together before Lila started camp on Wednesday.

I was obsessed with photographing legs this week for some reason!

I came out from Logan's room one day after putting him down for nap and found Lila naked in the living room. "I'm Tarzan", she said. Well, okay then.

A walk around the block has become our after-dinner tradition. I love summer!

On Friday, Lila and I went to the Garden City pool to celebrate the birthday of one of  Lila's friend's. The kids had such a blast. The pool was gorgeous. I so wish we could get a membership.

On Saturday we hit the beach with my friend Jenn and her daughter. Such a gorgeous day and the kids had so much fun playing together.

And Sunday we celebrated Father's Day at the beer garden - a perfect end to a great week!

And that was our week! I hope all the dads out there had an amazing Father's Day (including my wonderful dad who I will see on Thursday!). Have a great week, everyone!
