Life in Motion: August | NYC & Long Island Family Films

A month or so ago, after growing tired of being frustrated with trying to track down resources on DSLR video and having no real place to discuss making films with other filmmakers, I decided to form a community on Facebook for DSLR filmmakers. Its been an awesome few weeks, with lots of vibrant discussion and film shares, and the group is growing everyday. This community has quickly become my happy place!

A few members showed some interest in forming a monthly video blog circle (with maybe some bigger plans in the future for our community's films - stay tuned!). I'm so excited to join the "Life in Motion" circle as it kicks off this month! (these monthly films will replace my "A Year in Moving Pictures" posts).

This month I wanted to celebrate summer. We have only a few weeks left before school starts, and although I am more than ready to get back to our school-year routine, I don't want to take for granted, or forget, how glorious our summer has been.

I hope you enjoy "The Dog Days of Summer", and please follow the circle around to view all the gorgeous films made this month, starting with Stacey!

If you are a DSLR filmmaker, or would like to learn, come on over and join our DSLR filmmaking on Facebook - click here to go to the group page.

Now head on over to check out Stacey's film!
