Friday Round-up | Long Island Family Photographer

We are currently upstate enjoying a few days away while we can (October is a crazy busy month!) - we had to get some apple-picking in before it was too late! Sometimes you just have to blow off school and live life, right?

Before we left town, though, I made sure to type up some good reads for your Friday morning! So here we go -

Eric Kim's blog is one of my favorite photography sites. Just chock full of good information. Here is a post on 70 street photography tips for beginners.

This drone shot of two newlyweds on a rooftop is kind of amazing!

How to make four meals out of one pot of chili.

This video of George W. Bush asking Obama to take a photo of him cracks me up.

15 awesome audiobooks - putting these on my list!

Loving Tracy's Summer of 2016 Blurb book - she's inspiring me to get cracking on my own photo books!

Adding these shrimp scampi tacos into the meal rotation.

This new podcast sounds fascinating!

I think this gear hack is kind of genius!

Here's everything coming to Netflix in October!

This personal project of a photographer documenting her bi-polar mother is really heart-wrenching.

This is a really good post on how to display photographs in your home. I LOVE that gallery wall!
