Snapshots of Our Week | Documentary Family Photography

Well, it was a week! My Sony camera malfunctioned early in the week so I had to drop it off for service - turns out its the lens that is the problem, not the camera, but I left the camera at the shop for a cleaning, anyway. Since I don't like carrying my DSLR around on a daily basis, I dug out my Sony point and shoot, but barely ended up using it. I worked all week at Hello Dolly so my days basically consisted of running around like a crazy person until I had to leave for work in the afternoon.

The kids are still recovering from colds, or maybe its allergies? Who knows. All I know is that they have been coughing and stuffy for weeks and we are all ready to be done with that!

We're still having crazy summer-like weather. Not complaining! The abundant sunshine has been nice. I am not looking forward to the approaching daylight savings and it getting dark earlier. I do love our "spooky walks" that we've recently created though. After-dinner walks by flashlight!

Scooter date with my little buddy. I love the one-on-one time I get with him during the week.

It's fun having Pops' just around the corner from us everyday working on a house renovation. We've been going there often for little visits. Logan and Lila love to help!

I spent at least part of every day this week in the city for work. I pulled out my camera for a few street shots.

And a few around the house shots of my nuggets from different moments this week:

On Saturday night backstage at the show I am working on, a set piece ran over my foot. A big set piece. It could have been much worse, but I am sitting here right now with a broken toe, stitches and out of a week of work (which kind of sucks financially). Anyway. Like I said at the beginning of this post - its been a week!

Hoping to get my Sony back soon and start taking more photos again.

The kids' portraits for the week (poor Lila - I have NO pictures of her this week):

Lila - Age 5, Week 50

Logan - Age 3, Week 20

And that was our week!
