Snapshots of Our Week | Long Island Family Documentary Photographer

This week began the countdown to the end of school for the year. Lila had her final music class and all the parents were invited to watch a little performance. It was really amazing to see how much Lila has come out of her shell since the beginning of the year. When I think back to how self-conscious she was at the Halloween parade compared to how much fun she had at her music performance... well, let's just say the change is night and day. I was so proud of her.

We hit the playground on Wednesday as it happened to be a dry day (all this rain needs to stop!).

On Friday we headed up to Copake for the long weekend. It was so green compared to the last time we were up there!

Some fish were delivered on Friday afternoon to the pond at the bottom of the driveway - now Lila and Logan can learn how to fish!

On Saturday morning it was the first Farmer's Market of the year in Hillsdale. The bubble man was there making huge bubbles and was of course surrounded by kids.

The kids had a good time hanging out at the "house in the woods".

On Saturday we went to a wine festival. Lila enjoyed her italian ice and a ride in a horse carriage. And we randomly ran into friends there!

Logan spent a lot of the weekend on the porch blowing bubbles. He is getting good!

Lila was thrilled to make s'mores on Saturday night.

On Sunday we visited the outlet stores in Lee, went to a playground in Stockbridge, had lunch at the Great Barrington Brewery and then went to a candy shop in Great Barrington - it was a busy day!

That afternoon, Lila and Logan got their first fishing lesson at the pond.

It was a great week!

I put together a little video of our week... I am hoping to make these "Scenes from the Week" films throughout the summer... let's see if I can actually follow through!

Hope you all had a lovely Memorial Day!
