Friday Favorites | Reads, Eats & Random Things!

The last two weeks of the summer vacation are here already - how did that happen so quickly?? We are headed upstate for the weekend - our last for the summer. Lila found out who her teacher will be today and we got a message from the school asking us to drop off her school supplies next week. It's getting oh so real that my little girl is starting kindergarten! Logan also found out that he is getting a new teacher this year and we had a playdate with his classmates, many who are new to the school. New beginnings all around!

As we head into the weekend, here are a few of my recent favorite things I'd love to share with you:

Lila is starting kindergarten in two weeks' time, and that means - HOMEWORK! I love this homework station that Tracy created.

I love these mantras.

I love this story on cherishing family snapshots, even in the most challenging of times!

I love this project.

This street photography class on Skillshare sounds great!

Speaking of Skillshare, Tracy has me wanting to try watercolors after reviewing  these Skillshare watercolor classes. It looks so relaxing!

I love these Back to School interviews. I want to do video interviews with my kids.

I love this idea of a Weekly Bucket List. Carrying on that spirit throughout the whole year.

This is another photo project that I really like - images taken at public pool

Ooh, I am kind of coveting Tamron's new 24-70.

A really good post about what you can do after Charlottesville.

5 essential books for every documentary filmmaker's library.

I am totally intrigued by this new thriller set in Astoria!

This is such a great post on how to simplify your life.

"Friday Night Lights" but for theater?? I'm excited!
