Looking back at 2018 | Long Island & NYC Photographer and Filmmaker

As 2018 winds down, I am so thankful to have a couple of weeks off to re-fill my cup and reflect back on all the good that happened this past year in my business.

I am so grateful to all the families, businesses and individuals who trusted me with their stories this past year. I photographed newborns, teenagers, vacationers, and an amazing lady celebrating her 100th birthday! I spent the spring working on two 2-hour legacy videos of two couples in their 80’s - having the privilege of hearing their perspective on life was a true gift.

I ran around both New York City and Philadelphia with two amazing photographers - Jennifer Tonetti Spellman and Lucy Baber, filming lesson videos for their photography classes.

I spent many hours filming interviews at Max Finkelstein, Inc., a family-run business in Astoria, Queens, who are celebrating their 100th anniversary this year.

I just finished up a suite of social media videos for Happy Family Organics which should be hitting Instagram soon.

But the heart and soul of what I do has always been families. Photographing and filming families this year (and every year before this one) has given me so much joy and fulfillment, and I cannot wait to record more family stories in 2019.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to all my amazing clients this year. I am a lucky gal :)
