Sunday Morning in Manhattan | New York City Family Photographer
I've been photographing this little lady since she was a tiny newborn. It's amazing how fast kids grow, and I love seeing her personality evolve every time I see her. Now a sassy, smart, sweet almost-three year old, we played a lively game of hide-and-seek (which ended up with a snuggle session in the bathtub!), ate some snacks, helped dad hang some pictures on the wall, and went to the playground! It was a very full two hour session!
As Willa's third birthday approaches, I made note of all the elements of her life that might be different a year from now... perhaps her crib will be replaced by a big girl bed, diapers may be a thing of the past, even her sippy cups might be different. I hope these little details in the photos prove to be heartwarming little memories to look back on.
Selfishly I love shooting in this gorgeous upper west side Manhattan apartment... I mean - look at those windows in the living room! The light is just amazing. And mom Andrea is a dear former co-worker from "Rock of Ages" who I always love catching up with.
Here are a few of my favorite images from the session followed by a slideshow of the complete gallery.
I am now booking family sessions for 2018! Information can be found here.

And finally, if you still have some holiday shopping to do, here is A Gift Guide for the Family Documentarian.
